Shane Rodriguez is the heart and soul of Tek It Out LLC, the driving force behind Tek It Out Now. With a career in IT spanning back to 2005, Shane has worn every hat in the industry—from coder to IT administrator to web developer extraordinaire. A self-proclaimed “developer by heart,” Shane’s passion for building impactful tech solutions has fueled a remarkable journey of innovation.
Shane kicked things off with The Credit Tracker https://thecredittracker.com, a .NET application launched in 2005 that revolutionized credit management for users. Later in 2015, During his almost five-year tenure as an IT Administrator for a large mental health company in Oregon, he designed and deployed a custom .NET-based intranet system that streamlined performance evaluations and merit increases for hundreds of employees. Over the years, Shane has owned, built, and contributed to countless projects—many of which you’ll see below.
The name “Tek It Out” holds a special story: it was dreamed up by Shane’s youngest daughter one day. “Dad, how about Tek It Out?” she suggested. Shane’s eyes lit up— check it out, tek it out —and he was hooked. “Loving it,” he said, and just like that, a family moment turned into the spark for a brand that embodies curiosity, innovation, and getting things done.
When he’s not coding or strategizing, Shane is a proud dad to four beautiful daughters who inspire him every day. “I love what I do,” he says, “and I’m lucky to work with a team that shares that same fire.”
